Privacy Policy

Effective July 24, 2026

1. What we collect

• Account basics — your name, email, and password (stored securely by our authentication provider; we never see your password).
• Optional profile details — alias, profile photo, LinkedIn link, major(s)/minor(s), expected graduation, and school email if you add them.
• Club activity — event RSVPs and check-ins, participation points (Đồng), achievements, and reward redemptions.
• Security records — sign-in times, approximate location, IP address, and device info, visible only to you in Settings → Security.
• Photos — pictures taken at club events.

2. How we use it

To run the club: managing membership, events, points and rewards; showing the member directory to other signed-in members; keeping your account secure; and — only if you opted in — sending you event reminders and club updates by email.

3. Email choices

Reminder and update emails are opt-in. Every such email includes an unsubscribe link that works in one click without signing in, and you can change your email preferences anytime in Settings → Notifications. Transactional emails (verification, password reset) are sent regardless, since your account can't work without them.

4. Your controls

• Hide yourself from the member directory or hide your Đồng total (Settings → Privacy).
• Download everything we hold about you as a file (Settings → Data & account → Download my data).
• Delete your account and its data permanently, yourself, at any time (Settings → Data & account). Ask us to take down a specific event photo and we will.

5. Where your data lives

Data is stored with reputable cloud providers (database/authentication hosting, email delivery, and image storage) under their standard security practices. We don't sell your information — ever — and we don't share it with anyone except those providers, who process it only to run our services.

6. Discord

Our Discord server is governed by Discord's own terms and privacy policy. The club bot there reads messages only to respond to them and keeps moderation counts; it doesn't build profiles of members.
